Eeny Meeny

An exhibition of new work in print and installation by

Derrick Haughton

Preview 5 to 8pm Saturday 15th June

The forming, molding, shaping of ideas and beliefs, why we believe what we do, these are the concerns that inform and underpin Derrick’s work. He is interested in histories, its processes, its forming possibilities, its sensuous nature and the possibility of being taken over, seduced by it.

Born in Kingston Jamaica, Derrick moved to the UK aged eleven. After graduating from the Slade in 1980 he was a recipient of a Boise Travel Scholarship and a Harkness Fellowship. He worked in New York for a number of years before returning to the UK. He has exhibited nationally and internationally and taught at Central St Martins, Middlesex University, London and Kingston University.  He lives and works in London and East Anglia.

Open Wednesday to Friday, 1pm to 5pm, Saturday 11am to 5pm until 20th July
